Security and your data

Straight answers for dropzone owners on Manifest Desk. If what you need is not here, ask.

Where is my data?

In a Supabase database hosted on AWS in the eu-central-2 region (Zurich, Switzerland). The Desk itself is served by Vercel. Every connection to the Desk and the app is encrypted (HTTPS).

Who at my dropzone can see what?

These rules are checked on our servers, not only hidden on screen.

Can Manifest see my data?

Yes. Manifest's admins can open any dropzone's data, to help you and to fix problems.

How do I protect sign-in?

Who changed the money?

The money log lists every money line, who entered it and who approved it. Refunds and adjustments by staff need your supervisor PIN, unless you allowed them, and your name is kept on what you approve.

How are card payments handled?

Through Stripe, on your own Stripe account. In the app, card details go to Stripe through Stripe's own payment form.

What if the internet drops?

The Desk keeps showing the last loads it had. Check-ins, calls, boarding and departures are saved on that computer and sent when the internet is back. Money is never saved for later.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. Exports are on Reports, the money log and Staff pay, and Download everything under Your data takes it all at once. See the owner guide.

What happens if I leave?

Everything is kept but frozen, read-only, for 90 days. You can sign in, download everything, or come back. After 90 days it is deleted, except the records the law makes us keep, such as signed waivers and payments, which are kept anonymised.

If a jumper deletes their Manifest account, your records of their jumps and payments stay with you, under the name you knew them by.
