About Manifest

Manifest is a skydiving logbook app for iPhone. Jumps are signed off in person by another licensed jumper rather than self-reported, it shows the loads turning at 160+ dropzones live, and it keeps your gear service dates in date. It is free to download.

Why it exists

A paper logbook gets lost, soaked, and questioned. Digital ones mostly replaced the paper without replacing the problem: a number you typed in yourself is still a number you typed in yourself. Anyone can claim 500 jumps.

At the same time, every dropzone runs its own manifest board, so following loads means a different bookmark for every DZ you visit, and none of them know who you are.

Manifest was built to fix both: make a jump into something you can prove, and put every dropzone’s board in one place.

How a jump gets verified

You log the jump. Another licensed jumper who was there scans a QR code from your phone, reviews the entry, and signs it. Their name and licence number are recorded on that jump. Once signed, the jump is locked and can no longer be edited or deleted, and if a signature is later withdrawn the record of it stays rather than being erased.

Your logbook then shows two numbers side by side: your total jumps, and the ones independently verified. The second number is the one that means something at a desk.

Manifest captures every field USPA SIM 3-1 requires for a logged jump, and a jump can only be signed off once they are filled in. There is a fuller explanation in digital logbooks and USPA SIM 3-1.

Live loads from 160+ dropzones

Manifest reads the dropzone’s own board, so you see what is actually turning: which loads are building, who is manifested on them, how many slots are left, and how long until the plane goes. If you are on a load, your load is marked as yours.

With Manifest Pro that load appears on your lock screen with gear-up and final-call alerts, so it does not leave without you.

Jumps that log themselves

Manifest watches the dropzone’s board. When you are manifested on a load, that jump is recorded — dropzone, aircraft, load and discipline already filled in — and it is waiting for you to confirm at the end of the day.

It keeps recording after the aircraft has departed, so a jump is not lost just because you were still in the air when the load came off the board. You confirm what you actually jumped; nothing is logged on your behalf without you saying so.

The DZ Check-in Pass

Your licence, ratings, currency, reserve repack and AAD dates and an emergency contact on one scannable screen, pulled straight from your record so it cannot be edited by hand. Show it at the desk instead of emptying your gear bag. Whoever scans it does not need the app.

What else is in it

Free, and what Pro adds

Your logbook, sign-offs, QR code, currency, statistics, live loads, dropzones, events, community and cloud backup are free, with no limit on how many jumps you log. Manifest Pro puts your load on your lock screen. It appears the moment the load is called, with gear-up and final-call notifications and a live countdown in the Dynamic Island — so the plane does not leave without you. Pro also adds the full credentials vault, your pass in Apple Wallet, and branded PDF exports of your signed-off logbook and gear passport. Monthly or annual, starting with a free trial.

Who built it

Manifest is built by André Larsen, a skydiver, and shaped by the people using it. Sign in with Apple, the dropzone search, the way jumps get captured after a load — all of it came from jumpers sending messages about what was missing or broken.

It is worked on every day. If something is missing or wrong, say so and it gets looked at properly.
