Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Welcome to Manifest (“the App”), operated by André Larsen (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Who can use Manifest

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You may create an account with an email address, or by signing in with Apple or Google.

2. What Manifest is — and isn’t

Manifest provides tools to log jumps, track gear and its service history, record and replay a jump in 3D, discover dropzones, and host and join events. Skydiving is inherently dangerous. Manifest is an information and coordination tool only. We are not responsible for your safety, gear airworthiness, currency, training decisions, or for the conduct of dropzones, riggers, coaches, or organizers. Always follow the rules of your dropzone and national association and rely on qualified professionals.

3. 3D Jump Track — recording, and what the numbers are worth

3D Jump Track records a jump using the sensors in your phone and replays it afterwards.

IT IS NOT AN ALTIMETER AND IT IS NOT A SAFETY DEVICE. Every altitude, speed and time it shows is derived, after the fact, from a consumer phone barometer and consumer GPS carried in a pocket. It must never be used for altitude awareness, for deciding when to deploy, or for any in-air decision whatsoever. Use your altimeter, your AAD and your eyes. Nothing the App reports about a jump changes what your instruments and your training tell you.

The numbers are for looking back at a jump, not for flying one. They may be wrong. GPS drops out in an aircraft, barometric altitude drifts with weather, and detection of exit, deployment and landing is inference rather than measurement. We do not warrant that any recorded figure is accurate, and you must not rely on one to establish what happened in an incident, an investigation, or a dispute.

Recording needs your permission for location (including in the background) and motion, and it only runs when you start it or when the load you are pinned to is called. Your tracks are stored on your device and are not uploaded to us; see the Privacy Policy.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you post (jumps, photos, messages) and of the jumps you record. You grant us a license to host and display the content you post as needed to operate the App. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to post it. Don’t post anything unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or abusive.

Images and videos you export from a jump replay carry Manifest branding, and map imagery in them is provided by Mapbox and remains subject to Mapbox’s terms. You are free to share them; you may not remove or obscure that branding or attribution.

5. Gear records

Gear items and their service history (repacks, AAD service, past owners, and similar) are self-reported by users unless explicitly marked as independently verified. We do not inspect or guarantee any gear or its airworthiness. Always verify reserve/AAD service with a qualified rigger before jumping.

6. Events

Hosts set event details and capacity. Joining and RSVPing to events is free. Event delivery, changes, and cancellations are the responsibility of the host; contact the host with any questions. We are not a party to host-run events and are not responsible for them.

7. Manifest Pro subscriptions

Manifest is free to use. Manifest Pro is an optional paid subscription sold as an auto-renewable in-app purchase through Apple. Current pricing and any introductory or free-trial offer are shown in the app before you buy; prices vary by country and may change with notice.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings, not in Manifest; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.

Purchases are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms, and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. If your subscription ends, Pro features stop but your logbook, gear and account remain: nothing you have logged is deleted or locked because you stopped paying.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: break the law; harass, defraud, or endanger others; post false or misleading content; scrape or abuse the service; impersonate others; or interfere with the App’s operation. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the community.

9. Verification badges

Verified badges indicate account status we assign. They are not a guarantee of any person’s skill, certification, or trustworthiness.

10. Termination and account deletion

You may delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Certain records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy. Jump tracks recorded on your device are stored there rather than in your account, so deleting your account does not remove them from that phone; delete them in the App or remove the App.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the App, events hosted or joined through it, reliance on any content, or reliance on any figure recorded or displayed by 3D Jump Track. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
